Load the Scent Striker Magnums with your best halibut-attracting fish scent, secure the rig’s swivel to your fishing line, and drop deep for waiting halibut and other big game bottom fish. Add a piece of salmon belly, squid, or herring to the 14/0 circle hook, and you have a killer combination.
The Scent Striker Magnum Halibut Rig is 15 inches in length. Built on a 300-pound-test premium monofilament leader.
Strung onto the rig’s leader are three scent-soaking Scent Striker Magnums. The Magnums come in color choices of black, fluorescent chartreuse, fluorescent orange, or white.
Aluminum crimp sleeves with glow line-protecting thimbles secure the heavy-duty ROSCO barrel swivel and a big game 14/0 VMC offset circle hook. The Magnums are strung onto the leader and securely held between the two crimps.
