Appanage Fishing was built by people who live and fish in Southeast Alaska. Time on the water here shaped how we think about gear—especially the gap between artificial lures and how natural bait actually fishes. The goal from the start was straightforward: build an action + scent system that could move, smell, and fish as effectively as natural bait in cold, tidal water. Every product under the Scent Striker name comes from that pursuit, refined through regular use in the same conditions we still fish today.WHY WE BUILD THIS WAY
