- My wife and I slipped out of town one afternoon in July 2018 for an overnight at Funter Bay. Scent Strikers helped pull in these three Silvers during the evening troll. The next morning from about 8 ‘til noon we fished for Halibut. Of course, my wife caught the big one. She was using a Scent Striker Fob soaked in herring oil and clipped on a plastic squid rig (shown). As I remember, on this trip, I caught only one of the Halibut.
- Slipped out early one morning in mid Aug 2018 to troll for Silvers. Scent Striker tied in with a Brad’s Super Bait Cut-Plug on a 40# fluorocarbon leader (pictured) was in the water about 7. The Scent Strikers were soaked in a mixture of herring oil and Pro Cure scent. Was back into the harbor about noon. This was a FUN morning!
- JP proudly holds his 30 lb. Hally. Look at that boy’s smile! This trip was one of the first when experimenting with Scent Striker Fobs for Halibut. Four poles in the water and some using Scent Striker, some not. JP was using a Scent Striker Fob soaked in a Pro Cure scent product and was the only one to tag a fish that day.
- Another great day’s catch!
